The Office of University Counsel provides legal advice to various units and colleges related to the provision of health care. Among them are: the University's College of Medicine, which operates the nation's largest medical school and numerous patient care clinics; the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago; the McKinley Health Center at Urbana-Champaign; the College of Dentistry; the College of Nursing; the College of Pharmacy; the College of Applied Health Sciences; the Counseling Center at Urbana-Champaign; the Counseling Center at Chicago; and the Counseling Center at Springfield.
 

The University’s health system engages the Office of University Counsel for legal support and advice regarding all aspects of its operations, including patient safety and privacy, regulatory compliance, consulting arrangements, Memorandums of Understanding, and master planning.
