Katherine C. Galvin
Katherine came to the University in 2007. She will handle labor and employment-related matters for Academic Human Resources. Additionally, Katherine will provide counsel related to the State Ethics Act, the Freedom of Information Act and compliance with other state and federal laws. Katherine previously practiced in Michigan and North Carolina, serving as an Assistant Attorney General in both states. Katherine received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and her law degree from the University of Michigan. After law school, Katherine served as a law clerk to Justice Eastaugh of the Alaska Supreme Court and as a Deputy Magistrate and law clerk in the Second Judicial District of Alaska.
