Wesley W. Curtis
Wes joined the Office of University Counsel in August, 2007. He provides advice and counsel to the University on matters related to real estate, contracts, gifts & bequests and other business transaction related matters. Before coming to the University, Wes worked for 18 years in commercial banking and was a Senior Vice President in the business banking division of Main Street Bank & Trust. Prior to his commercial banking career, Wes practiced general and business law at the law firm of Franklin, Flynn & Palmer in Champaign, Illinois. Wes obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois Law School in 1986 and graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois in 1983 with a BS in Finance.
