Laura D. Clower
Laura came to the University in 2005 after fifteen years of private practice at a Champaign litigation defense firm. Before entering private practice she clerked for a federal appellate judge and taught legal writing and research at the University of Illinois College of Law. She continues to serve as an adjunct professor at the College of Law, teaching Trial Advocacy, Negotiations and other skills-based courses. She manages litigation involving a wide variety of legal issues, including, civil rights, discrimination and employment, breach of contract, injunctive relief and environmental laws. Laura received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her law degree from the University of Illinois.
